-Synopsis:Land and culture amongst the Shuar people of the Ecuadorian Amazon are intimately linked to one another. What happens to Shuar community, relationships, culture and traditions when foreign mining interests enter the picture? By comparing and contrasting two communities –a mining area and a protected area – this film explores the issues facing the Shuar today and the changes within their land.
